ABOUT SHOW HOPE
Founded by a group of young professionals with a desire to make a difference, the ShowHope event committee is proud to offer
year-round events to raise funds and awareness for American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge, located in midtown Manhattan.
Co-chaired by Kate Kelley and Ian Lane, the ShowHope event committee is comprised of talented, passionate,
and creative types from all backgrounds and career paths with one common goal: to raise money and awareness for
the only facility in New York City providing free lodging and support services for cancer patients and their caregivers.
We each provide insight and expertise from our respective fields at bi-weekly meetings, and through grassroots efforts we
continue to provide ongoing events to support Hope Lodge NYC. To get involved, please e-mail your contact information and a
brief bio to Lindsay.edgar@cancer.org.
The ShowHope committee welcomes new additions to assist with organizing our upcoming events.
ABOUT SHOW HOPE
Kate Kelley
Has been volunteering her time for nearly four years at Hope Lodge NYC, and is ecstatic to have gathered such an amazing group of people together to be a part of the ShowHope event committee. She is truly honored that Jewelry Designer Showcase has chosen ShowHope to a beneficiary for their year long campaign to raise funds and awareness for Hope Lodge NYC. A native of Weston, CT, Kate currently is an Account Director for SoHo Experiential for Louis XIII Cognac. In her downtime Kate enjoys snowboarding or soaking up the sun on the nearest beach.
Ian Lane
A native of Woodstock, NY but a proud city-dweller for nearly four years, Ian is a part-time graduate student at Columbia
University and spends his days with a handful of incredibly talented people at One Source Visual Marketing Solutions. In his
'free' time he can be found studying, playing in a dodgeball league, attending random events around town and throwing some
legendary dinner parties in his apartment on the Upper West Side.
Lindsay Edgar
ShowHope's official portal to Hope Lodge NYC, where she serves as the Manager of Guest and Volunteer Programs. The favorite
part of her job is getting inspired by the increase of participation in young people (especially busy New Yorkers) who donate their
time and energy to organizations like the American Cancer Society. Our staff, volunteers, and guests truly appreciate all of the
effort that went into creating ShowHope.
MaryBeth Kelley
Involved with ShowHope purely by default, as she just so happens to be Kate's sister. A graduate of Mount
Holyoke College, MaryBeth moved to NYC in June of ‘95 to begin a career in the fashion industry, and has since been lucky enough
to work for the likes of Calvin Klein, Victoria's Secret, and currently with Liz Claiborne. She enjoys traveling, cooking,
volunteering for ShowHope as well as GMHC, and above all, snowboarding!!
Aaron Venn
Art Director and Creative consultant, Aaron Venn joined the committee shortly after being approached to take over web responsibilities for ShowHopeNYC.org "It's an honor to be a part of ShowHope and bring awareness to American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge."
Adriaan Schölvinck

Warren Dow

Native of Saint Johnsbury, VT, Warren is a graduate of Brown University and has lived and worked in New York City for the last 5 years. In his downtime, Warren enjoys tennis, running, and skiing.
